Ryan Associates consultants each have over 10 years of asset management software consulting experience. Past projects range from deploying Advent’s Axys and Geneva for global asset managers to integrating data systems and project planning for hedge funds with complex financial reporting requirements. The team’s expertise lies in coding Geneva Reports in Advent’s custom Report Specification Language (RSL). Additionally, Ryan Wealth Management has created supplementary applications that provide critical functionality for maintaining data in Geneva. Having completed major migrations and conversions for leading asset managers, the Ryan team offers excellence in trading integration, accounting and client services with the goal of creating seamless workflow with as little manual intervention as possible. |

Ted Ryan is the founder and Managing Director of Ryan Associates. Ted has 10 years of software consulting experience for hedge funds and asset managers. As a Project Manager and Senior Consultant for Advent from 1998 to 2003, Ted gained extensive experience deploying Advent’s signature programs; Axys, Moxy, Partner, BREU and Geneva. Since founding Ryan Wealth Management, Ted has consulted for over a dozen different clients on Advent’s Geneva, including a full range of derivative instruments such as; forwards, repos and swaps and futures. His experience with Geneva enables him to write custom reports and extracts in Geneva’s custom report writing language. Throughout his consulting experience, Ted has dealt with various operational and configuration issues of multi-partnership, fund structures; including on shore and off shore partnership arrangements.
Mr. Ryan holds a BA in English from College of Holy Cross, and Juris Doctor, from Boston College Law School. Ted is a member of the Massachusetts and New York State Bars. |
Charles Walters |

Charles Walters has been working in information technology for twelve years. As Senior Implementation Consultant for Advent software from 1998 through 2001, Charles deployed Advent’s trading and portfolio systems at more than 50 hedge funds and asset managers worldwide. Most recently, Charles has been managing conversion projects to migrate to the latest version of Geneva. He has extensive experience with Advent’s Partner, Axys and Moxy applications. Charles’ expertise is in hard to price assets and complex capital structures. After the attacks of 9/11, Charles was tapped to head the Salvation Army of New York’s IT response, where he managed a team and the integration of multiple data warehouses and general ledger systems.
He holds a BA from University of North Carolina in Economics and a BA in History. Charles is a licensed Real Estate Appraiser and Broker in New York State. |
